Teaching Experience
Anna's teaching draws upon many years of experience as a theater artist with a primary focus on physical theater approaches, based on Lecoq’s principles and incorporating a variety of influences, including Laban Movement Analysis. Specific areas include clown & physical comedy, introduction to movement dynamics, advanced explorations in physical theater performance and ensemble creation, devising techniques, as well as applied theater methods.
Anna has provided physical theater training for professional conservatories, theater companies and arts-in-education programs, and directed or provided directorial consulting for multiple productions. Recent work has centered on theater for social change with populations in areas of crisis and conflict.
